RIGHT OR WRONG?

RIGHT OR WRONG?

A woman had an argument with his husband at home. The husband walked out of the house to take a stroll, in order to relieve the kind of tension that was building up between him and his wife. The wife became more angry that the husband did not find a solution to the ensuing issue, but chose to walk out and come back home later in the day as usual.

She sat down on one of the cushions in the sitting room , full of anger and tears rolling down her cheeks. Then, her phone rang. She picked it up, but it was not her husband who had called, but her pastor.

" Hello Mummy Bisi" The pastor greeted
" Hello daddy, good afternoon daddy" she replied
" Mummy Bisi, do you have any thing your pastor can use to hold his stomach for a while, mummy is not around , and I am seriously famished. I just came in now from Ota." the pastor asked her
" Yes daddy, I just made rice and stew, it is meant for Daddy Bisi, but he is not at home now, and I can always make his own before he comes back home" She replied
"That is good to hear, God bless you" The pastor prayed
"Amen sir." she replied
"But is anything the matter, your voice seems cold, like someone who has been crying?" the pastor queried
"Am ok sir, there is no problem. All is well" she answered

Few minutes later, the pastor heard a knock on his door and it was mummy Bis, with two coolers of food in a bag in her hand.

She placed the food on the pastors table, walked into his kitchen to look for a plate to serve him, after which she dished out the food on the dining table for him. She was ready to leave when he called her back.

"Why do you have a sombre expression on your face?" the pastor asked her suddenly
"Nothing sir, that has always been my facial expression" she answered
'Oh! is it because I asked you to give me some food?"
"Daddy, how can you say that, why will I put on an expression because of food" she queried too
"Mummy Bisi, pack up the food and take them away, and for your information, you and your house hold will suffer three months of lack for putting on a sombre expression because I asked you for food"

As it turned out to be, the family suffered three months of lack. The husband lost his job, the wife shop closed up, they could not pay their children school fees, house rent and other house levies for the three months.

The pastor on the pulpit during one of his sermons made reference to this incidence, and one of the members got up and asked this question:

"Sir, what you did to this family, is it right, is that what God would have want you to do?"
