What God wants for you and not what your pastor wants

What does God really want from you reading the Holy Book?

For twenty-nine years, I belonged to a denomination whose female members were not allowed to put on bracelets, necklaces, chains, earrings and ankles, though they were allowed to wear wedding rings and wristwatches. Due to my inquisitiveness I once queried one of the pastors about the truth concerning the issue of jewelry
wearing.
“Is it a sin or not that a female should wear jewelry”I asked
After much quote of Biblical passages, he told me that wearing jewelry on its own is not a sin, but that it might lead to sin.
“Why tell the congregation that it is a sin then, shouldn’t they know the truth?” I asked again

He looked at me and after heaving a sigh, he said
“If we allow them to wear earrings, necklace, bracelets and hand chains in our denomination, we would be going against our leaders. This is one of the rules that they have set down since the foundation of this denomination, even before I became a pastor or probably given birth to and I believe we have to obey”

The Holy Bible

The Holy Bible has been translated into different languages in the world today for just one purpose, and that is “Preaching the Good News to every person, nooks and crannies of the world and it doesn’t stop at that, but that all who hears or studies it will have a full comprehension of its content and meaning. I believe that no preacher has any right to withhold “some” of the truth about the content and meaning of the “Holy Scriptures” from the members. They must know, understand and practice what they have believed and accepted. If the church leaders are afraid that the members will abuse the wearing of jewelries, then they have more work to do, because :

“He that lacks self discipline falls short of being called a believer in God’s words”

Self-discipline is what defines us as Christians. It is what others see in us that they get envy of. It is the qualities that others expect of you and when they don’t see it, they say;
“Didn’t he say he is a Christian, doesn’t he go to church every Sunday”
As believers in God’s word, we must be able to discipline ourselves to dress moderately. As everything we put on, wear, eat, walk on, drive in, sit on, sleep on, watch are good for us, so they can all lead to sin if we misuse them. It is not limited to jewelries alone. Our self-discipline as believers makes us stay on the right course, never going astray. No preacher has the right to withhold the content of the Holy Scriptures from the members. They should know all the truth and not just part of it.
“You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”

There are so many lies and deceitful words that have been spoken to us by people who called themselves servants of God, and worst still they would say all these standing on God’ altar, and claim to be speaking according to the dictate of the Holy Spirit. That is why God instructed me to write this book so that you can really understand what God wants you to do not what your pastor wants.
